Look how happy this guy is! He’s locking in deals…with new Verbal Scripts from UtilityClick!
One of the things I admire most about our platform is in its power to use the information held within its databases to do innovative things – which help our customers make swift work of admin processes end-to-end across the lifecycle of the customer. Company information, consumption data, meter details, quote pricing – you name it. Contract generation is one example of an application we’ve been careful to get right.
Now – automatic PDF contract generation has been live in our system for an age now, and works wonders to use this data for the population of those complicated and long-winded supplier contracts which you all know and…love? But we’re aware that PDFs aren’t the only way (and not necessarily the quickest way) to lock in a deal.
When given the option, some brokers prefer using verbal scripts – confirming the contract with the end customer over the phone, following the strict prose as specified by the supplier. Dotted through each script are placeholders where key bits of information slot in – relevant to the contract in question. Unit rates, contract length, product details and customer information. But it’s easy to make mistakes – slotting in the wrong rates, missing out a section of script as you jump between the platform and the script – which can lead to contract rejections and embarrassing conversations with customers.
Wouldn’t it be great if the scripts could just auto-populate themselves at the click of a button?…
So – building on our contract generation system, we’re introducing Verbal Script functionality to all of our customers, going live into the UtilityClick platform imminently. Auto-population of verbal scripts will soon be in the hands of our users – complete with WAV-file uploading for those all-important voice recordings.
