It’s been a super-busy October here at UC-HQ. Well – in truth, every month is super-busy, but this one in particular!
The start of autumn has brought an exciting mix of new software features, the start of development for ‘Dashboards’ (our upcoming business intelligence & reporting module), further optimisation of our cloud infrastructure and a whole lot of fun along the way! I’ve hardly noticed the leaves falling off the trees outside the office window.
So here’s an update on some of the autumnal goings-on in the world of the ‘Clickers:
- Half-Hourly Matrix – now launched! And ahead of schedule I’ll hasten to add. We’ve worked our magic on the surge of HH supplier flat-files starting to fill our inboxes and built half-hourly pricing right into the system, to sit neatly alongside NHH and Gas as a happy trio of utilities. This is made available to all of our customers, and no extra cost. Hooray!
- Dashboards – we’ve started work on our business intelligence service which will offer charting and analysis of your entire portfolio. Sales, commissions, targets – all encompassed in a slick and interactive interface. Make a splash at your next presentation (well – once we’ve finished building it, of course)!
- Incremental Development – at UtilityClick, we never stand still. We’ve been working on a range of improvements and extra features over the last month including audit trails for data changes in the system, a new objection management system and umpteen interface upgrades.
- Infrastructure – alongside our continued development work, we’ve continued to optimise our cloud computing systems as our software platform expands and scales. Our 99.99% uptime in the last 30 days is testament to the work we put in on the back-end and we’re excited about rolling out new technologies to support Dashboards and the other great business features we’re adding over the coming year.
