Sometimes it’s good to step back and consider the immense effort our team is putting in to create our leading platform.
It has been a busy few months down in the engine room of UtilityClick. In fact, it’s fair to say that it has been a busy year. Demand for our platform continues to grow – our existing subscribers increase the number of agents furiously locking in energy contracts, and a continuous flurry of new customers jumping on our merry bandwagon to take advantage of our development efforts.
July was a month of refinement of new and existing UC technologies. We launched our pricing API internally to a select number of customers who are now enjoying the benefits of immediate matrix results. Not meaning to get too technical, but our file processing system has been hugely accelerated through the use of Apache Ignite in-memory storage (preparing a behemoth 140,000-row flat file now takes just 4 seconds). And to top that off, we’ve been releasing incremental features such as customer portal enhancements, user interface improvements and a whole raft of other tweaks.
On the customer support side of things, we have now been in contact with the majority of our clients to re-visit development requests and platform feedback to whittle down the nice-to-have (and would-love-to-have) list, giving us a more focussed development target for the rest of 2019. We are already implementing the most popular improvements and this will continue, of course, in parallel to our upcoming public API release which will allow the integration of our leading pricing system into… well, any website or application you care to dream up.
We couldn’t do all this without the continued effort put in by each and every one of our team, from the guys processing matrix files on a daily basis, to the support team answering tickets and phone calls, through to our developers and infrastructure bods whose expertise and dedication is simply mind-boggling.
